Power Saving Modes
Clicking the ‘run’ icon to wake the SWiFT, the LEDS on the SWiFT will activate and within 10
seconds a status message will be transmitted from the SWiFT and then updated every 10
seconds.
If you deploy the SWiFT while in sleep mode no profile will be recorded

7.2.1.1 To Place a SWiFT into Low Power Sleep Mode:
#162 Will return an error if Low Power Sleep mode is disabled.
Issue the serial command (#162) to the SWiFT. This powers down the main processes leaving
only the Bluetooth connection running.
All lights will turn off. In this mode the SWiFT will draw ~2.6mA.
7.2.1.2 To Wake a Swift from Low Power Sleep Mode:
Send any character. Do not use # as this will interrupt the instrument. If the instrument is
interrupted, it will need a #028 command to set into run mode.
If the SWiFT has been successfully woken up, within 10 seconds a status message will be
transmitted from the SWiFT and then updated every 10 seconds.

7.2.2 Low Power Mode Detail - Pre September 2019
If you have an older SWiFT pre-September 2019 and require to operate in a low power mode,
please contact Valeport to discuss upgrading your instrument.
