In the unlikely event of failure of the ignition
spark, the pilot can be lit by a taper or long
spill. With the lower front casting and firefront
casting removed, insert the taper or spill under
the glass to the pilot tip.
Follow the section ‘ Lighting the pilot’ as
described previously. DO NOT ALLOW WAX
OR OTHER DEPOSITS TO DROP ONTO THE
PILOT.
