1. Purchase
Press # for the transaction list and select ‘purchase’
Enter the purchase amount and press enter
Select the product and press enter
Pass the POS device to the customer who can either Tap to Pay™,
insert or swipe his or her card
Enter the odometer reading and press enter*
If prompted, the customer must enter his or her PIN followed by enter
Press ‘yes’ to select another item or ‘no’ to continue
Select ‘business’ or ‘private’*
Once the transaction is approved, the POS device will print a customer and
merchant copy of the receipt
Enter the driver ID and vehicle registration number*
The POS device will return to the idle screen
Note: if the transaction is declined, one receipt will print showing the decline message

If the customer selects to Tap to Pay™ his or her card and the transaction is below R500, the
customer will not need to enter his or her PIN. For Tap to Pay™ transactions, whether over or
under R500, the customer can choose to print a receipt.
*Steps 6 to 8 apply only to Fleet Cards
Enter the amount to initiate the purchase transaction and proceed to step 3
