For equipments with separate indoor and outdoor sections connected by refrigerant piping, the label information will be on
that part of the equipment which is initially charged with the refrigerant. In case of a split system (separate indoor and outdoor
sections) without a factory pre-charge of refrigerant, the mandatory label information will be on that part of the product or
Safety data sheets of F-gases used in the products are available on demand.
Operators of equipment which is required to be checked for leaks (see 9.9.5 Leakage Detection), shall establish and maintain records for
each piece of such equipment specifying the following information:

the identity of the undertaking which installed, serviced, maintained and where applicable repaired or decommissioned the
f the dates and results of the leak checks carried out (see 9.9.5 Leakage Detection)

Unless the records are stored in a database set up by the competent authorities of the Member States the following rules apply:
a the operators shall keep the records for at least years
b undertakings carrying out activities for operators shall keep copies of the records for at least years
