Open mail from a home screen
Once a mailbox has been added to a Vertu mail widget, you have immediate access
to your latest unread mail.
A default Vertu mail widget is created for you on the home screen to the right of the
default home screen. The first mailbox that you create during mail setup is
automatically added to this widget.
The procedure below applies if you are adding a mail widget following creation of your
initial mailbox.
Add a mailbox to a mail widget
1 Add a Vertu mail widget to the customisable home screen, which can be either a
one line or three line widget.
2 Select from the existing mailboxes that you have created, or create a new mailbox.
3 If you selected an existing mailbox, go straight to the next step. If you opted to create
a new mailbox, enter the appropriate mail address and password when prompted.
4 The mailbox is associated with the widget. To go to the inbox, select the title bar.
Tip: To see more mails, scroll down.
Remove a mail widget from the home screen
Select and hold the widget, and select
.
Tip: Removing a widget does not remove the associated mailbox. To remove a
mailbox, select > Mail, select and hold the mailbox, and select Delete mailbox.
