The VEVOR Chocolate Melter is a tabletop machine designed for melting and manually tempering chocolate. It is constructed from stainless steel and built to ensure precision, reliability, and longevity, adhering to strict manufacturing guidelines. This unit is capable of melting up to 35 lbs. of chocolate, which can then be used in Revolution Series chocolate tempering machines to save time or be manually tempered directly within the melter.
Function Description:
The primary function of the VEVOR Chocolate Melter is to efficiently melt and temper chocolate. It offers full manual temperature control through a user-friendly stabilized thermostat, with a temperature range of 80°F-130°F (approximately 26.7°C-54.4°C). The unit uses indirect, even heat to melt chocolate, which is crucial for achieving optimal results and preventing burning. Chocolate melts best slowly between 110°F-115°F (approximately 43.3°C-46.1°C). The melter is designed to maintain the desired temperature, with a yellow indicator light signaling when the target temperature is reached and the heater shuts off. When the chocolate temperature drops below the set point, the heater reactivates, indicated by the yellow light turning back on, to bring the chocolate back to the desired temperature.
For continuous tempering when feeding chocolate into a Revolution Machine, the process involves tempering chocolate as normal in the Revolution Series machine. Once the green "Ready" light is on, the temperature can be raised to the desired level. When the chocolate pool in the Revolution machine is half empty, melted chocolate at 30°C from the VEVOR Chocolate Melter can be added behind the baffle to refill the machine. After a few minutes (about 7), once the chocolate in front of the baffle is smooth and shiny, an additional 10% of un-melted chocolate can be added behind the baffle. The unit also allows for direct dipping of items into the melted chocolate.

The package includes the stainless steel Chocolate Melter unit with a temperature-adjusting thermostat dial, a removable stainless steel inner pan designed to melt and hold 35 lbs. of chocolate, and a stainless steel cover to maintain hygiene and prevent heat loss.
Usage Features:
- Temperature Control: Features a user-friendly stabilized thermostat for manual temperature control between 80°F-130°F.
- Capacity: The removable inner pan can hold up to 35 lbs. of chocolate.
- Heating Method: Utilizes indirect, even heat to prevent chocolate from burning, promoting slow and optimal melting.
- Indicator Lights: A yellow indicator light signals when the desired temperature is reached and when the heater is active.
- Reset Function: In case of a "WATER REFILL" indicator igniting due to insufficient water, water should be added immediately. Once the internal temperature drops to 50°C or below, removing the reset cap and pressing the reset button will turn off the indicator and restore normal operation.
- Efficiency: Capable of melting 35 lbs. of chocolate in 2-4 hours, especially when the lid is in place.
- Continuous Production: When used with a Revolution machine, it can help produce over 100 pounds of tempered chocolate in a 6-hour period.
- Safety Precautions:
- Do not submerge the unit in water.
- Use only at the specified voltage and ensure it is grounded.
- For indoor use on a flat surface only.
- Unplug when not in use.
- Keep away from extreme temperatures.
- Do not disassemble beyond the pan and lid.
- Keep the thermostat dial in the "off" position (turned all the way to the left) when the unit is off.
- Maintain at least six inches clearance from walls on all sides.
- Fill the unit with water to 1/3 capacity (up to the denoted water-line) before turning on the heater. Do not operate the heater without water inside.
- Keep the lid in place when not tempering or dispensing chocolate to prevent heat loss.
- Ensure un-melted chocolate is always behind the baffle when dipping.
- Do not overflow the machine when adding new melted chocolate.
Maintenance Features:
- Professional Maintenance: Maintenance staff should possess electrician qualifications. Do not conduct maintenance with power on.
- Transportation and Storage: The machine should be carefully protected from shaking during transportation. It should not be stored in the open air but in a ventilated warehouse free from corrosive gas. Avoid storing upside down.
- Troubleshooting: The manual provides a troubleshooting guide for common issues such as:
- Power indicator not on/unit not heating: Check power supply.
- Heating indicator on but temperature not rising: Check for loose connections of the electric heating tube or replace the tube.
- Power indicator on but setting temperature not rising: Replace the temperature controller.
- Temperature controller normal but indicator not on: Replace the indicator.
