5.5.2.1 Local System updates
Copy FW image folder (upgrade_8386) to USB
and will be shown in list for user selection if found
Note:
(1) Only support Android Full image.
(2) Folder name should be “upgrade_8386”.
(3) the folder should be located in root of
storage.
After press OK, Signage Display will restart and
start to update.
5.5.2.2. Online System updates
Online system update can select
(1) Auto Update: Similar with Windows update.
when you press the power button to turn o
the display, system will automatically check
if there is a new version.If yes, the system
will automatically download and update.
After the update is complete, the system
will proceed to turn o.
(2) Schedule Update: Sete up the update
schedule to proceed automatically. (e.g.
non-working day/hour)
(3) Manual update: User can online check and
update the OTA package manually.
