Function Description:

The primary function of the VIQUA Arros system is to provide ultraviolet (UV) disinfection of water. The system uses a UV lamp unit to inactivate microorganisms such as Cryptosporidium, Giardia, Escherichia coli (E. coli), and Fecal Coliform. For the NSF Class B certified systems (Arros 9-V, 15-V, 22-V), the system is designed for supplemental bactericidal treatment of disinfected public drinking water or other drinking water deemed acceptable for human consumption by relevant health agencies. These Class B systems are specifically designed to reduce normally occurring non-pathogenic nuisance microorganisms and are not intended for the treatment of contaminated water.
