Arming in latchkey mode
This mode, if enabled by the installer, is useful for example when a parent wants to be sure that their children
have returned from school and have disarmed the system. A special “latchkey” message is sent out when the
system is disarmed by a “latchkey user”.
Latchkey users are holders of user codes or users of keyfob transmitters 5 through 8. The latchkey message is
considered an alert and not an alarm. The message is sent to private telephone numbers that are programmed
by the user to receive alert messages.
Latchkey arming is possible only when you arm “AWAY”. To arm using the Latchkey mode, proceed as follows:
