To acquire the ECG data from the connected BT12 device, ECG electrodes must first
be applied to the subject. The ECG device must be connected to the electrodes. More
detailed information on preparing the subject and attaching the electrodes can be
found in the user instructions for the BT12 ECG device.
After switching on the ECG device, there should be two short signal beeps which
indicate that the device has completed a self-test. The device display will confirm if it is
ready for operation.
The 12 Lead ECG displays on screen.
Black bars on the display on the device could indicate faulty electrode
contact, transmission interference or too much distance between the
subject and PC. Check the electrode contact and, if necessary, apply
contact spray again where the skin and electrodes come into contact.
Reduce the distance between the subject and PC.
An analysis screen displays when the recording ends. This presents a detailed
analysis of the selected 10 seconds of recorded ECG data, and presents parameter
results and interpretations as determined by the Glasgow algorithm. The display
contains a 10-second ECG strip for a selected channel, the representative cycles, the
measurements and the interpretation results.
