Share devices:
The Share devicesoption allows you to share your IP Camera with another user.
1) Tap Share devices to open the list of devices registered to your account that are
available to share.
2) Tap on your IP Camera.
3) The Sharewindow appears with the following information needed:
RECIPIENT ACCOUNT:
Enter your recipients account (email) or scan in the recipients QR Code (as seen
in their apps Accounts > IP Cameras screen.
4) SHARE:
Once you have entered the recipients account name, tap Share.
RECIPIENT SHARE NOTFICATION: The recipient receives a Device Sharing
notification. They need to tap the notification to open the message or access the
message from the Accounts > Messagesscreen. In this Device sharing
message, the recipient has the following options:
- Decline: The recipient can tap Decline to reject the sharing of your camera.
- Accept: The recipient can tap Accept to accept and begin sharing your device.
5) SHARE TOLIST:
After tapping Share, the Share screen in your app now displays the list of Shared
todevices which shows the recipients account name.
DELETE: If you would like to remove the shared account, tap on the Delete
button by the Shared account name, then tap Remove to delete the account.
6) MESSAGES:
- A message is received once the recipient has agreed or declined the share
request.
- The recipient also receives a message displaying the Device sharing status to be
either Accepted or Declined as per the recipients selection.
Once your IP Camera is shared with the recipient, the recipient now is able to
select your camera from the Devices > IP Camerasscreen. They can view the live
streaming video from your camera, record video and take pictures.
