B1 Basic setting
To select a measuring mode set the rotary switch (2) to the position
desired. This action turns on the measuring instrument. The switch
position “OFF” means: measuring instrument is turned off.
Auto Power Off means that the instrument is automatically switched
off and changes to the so called "Sleep" mode (readiness or stand-
by). The instrument will be switched "off" after about 30 minutes, if:
no button is pressed,
the rotary switch is not activated,
the number values do not change.
The measuring instrument can be turned on again via the rotary
switch.
B2 Button layout
3 "H" button (3)
Each activation of this button (brief) turns the HOLD function on or
off. Hold means that the measuring value is kept ("frozen") until the
HOLD function is turned off again. During this function the "H" sym-
bol is shown at the top right corner of the display.
Note!
As soon as the HOLD function is activated, the "RESET" button
does not have any significance.
b) "SELECT" button (3)
This button allows you to switch between the functions (coloured
background) arranged round the rotary switch (e.g. from AC "~" to
DC "=" or from "Ω" to " " or to " " or to " ").
