c) "RESET" button (3)
By means of this button you can set the display of the "Reference
value measurement" to "00.00". This is very useful, for the resi-
stance measurement in the low-resistance range in particular,
because the inherent resistance of the measurement cables can be
compensated.
This function is activated by pressing the "RESET" button. Then, the
Delta symbol is displayed top right to the measured value. This
value is the difference between the current measuring value and the
reference value. You can leave this function by pressing the
"RESET" or "SELECT" button anew or by changing the position of
the SELECT button or of the rotary switch.
Note!
The reference value measurement can only be activated for the
resistance measurement if OL for overload is not displayed. The
same principle applies for the continuity check.
B Rotary switch (2)
You find the following measuring functions arranged in a semicircle:
V~/- Direct and alternating voltage
measurement
Ω Resistance measurement, diode test,
continuity check, frequency-
measurement
Hz Frequency measurement
µA~/- Direct and alternating voltage measure-
ment in microampere
mA~/- Direct and alternating voltage
measurementin milliampere

ment in ampere
