2. INTENDED USE
A clamp multimeter for measuring and displaying electrical parameters in measuring category
CAT II up to max. 600 V and CAT III up to max. 300 V against ground potential; in compliance
with EN 61010-1 and all lower categories.

The voltage in the circuit to be measured may not exceed 600 V in CAT II or 300 V in CAT III.
Themultimetermaybeoperatedwiththespeciedbatterytypeonly.
Do not operate the multimeter with the housing or battery compartment open or if the battery
compartment cover is missing. Measurements in wet rooms or in adverse ambient conditions
arenotpermissible.Adverseambientconditionsaredenedassuch:Wetconditionsorhigh
humidity,dustand ammablegases, vaporsorsolventsaswellasthunderstormsorsimilar
conditionssuchasstrongelectrostaticelds,etc.
Onlyusetestleadsandmeasuringaccessoriesthatmeetthemultimeter'sspecications.
