Lubrication System
Oil change intervals can vary depending on oil quality,
please refer to Technical Data, page 99.
If you want longer oil change intervals than stated in
the table Technical Data, page 99, the condition of
the oil must be checked by the oil manufacturers
through regular oil testing, please refer to Maintenance
Schedule, page 60.
Oil level, checking and topping up
The oil level must be inside the marked area on the
dipstick (1) and should be checked daily before the first
start.
Top up the oil through the filling hole on the side of the
engine (2). Check that the correct level has been
achieved. Wait a few minutes to allow the oil to run
down into the sump.
IMPORTANT:
Do not fill up above the maximum oil level. Only use a
recommended grade and quality of oil.
