Hose breakage protection
Hose rupture protection (option)
If the machine is equipped with a hose rupture protection (1)/(2),
the boom cannot drop to the ground if a hose bursts.
Lowering the boom with hose rupture protection
In case of standstill or engine defect and power failure during loa-
ding operation the accumulator pressure is sufficient to lower the
attachment to the ground with the control levers.
WARNING!
If the pressure in the accumulator is no longer high enough
for lowering the attachment, you should secure the working
area and consult an authorized Volvo CE workshop.
Ensure that no persons are near the working area of the
machine.
