Greatest possible safety is a characteristic of Vorwerk products. The product safety of the Kobold VC100 handheld vacuum
cleaner can however only be ensured if this chapter is followed.
1.1 Intended use

The appliance is not to be used by children younger than 8 years. Children from 8 years on
or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge may only use this appliance in case they have been given supervision or instruc

tion about how to use it safely and they understand what risks are involved. Children should
be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance may
not be performed by children without supervision.
