Troubleshooting (continued)
My parent unit does not play any sound when there is
noise from the baby unit.
Make sure the parent unt s powered up by connectng t to AC
power (page(page ) or to the rechargeable battery pack provded
(page 6).
Make sure the power adapter and the parent unt are plugged n
correctly and securely (page(page )..
Make sure the parent unt s turned on (24) and the speaker volume
s not set to off (page 24).
The parent unt may be too far away from the baby unt. Move the
parent unt closer to the baby unt (but not less than 1 metre).
If the parent unt s powered by the provded battery pack, make
sure there s suffcent charge. Charge the battery n the parent unt
for up to 3 hours.
You may have set the senstvty level to a very low level. If you do
so, the baby unt wll not detect sounds that s too soft or lght. You
may need to adjust the senstvty level to a hgher level (pages 26
and 27).
Large obstructons may mpact the recepton. Try to relocate the
baby unt, away from large obstructons such as walls and doors.
Remove and nstall the battery agan. Turn on the baby unt and the
parent unt. Allow up to one mnute for the parent unt and the baby
unt to synchronze.
Other electronc products may cause nterference wth your vdeo
and audo montor. Try nstallng your vdeo and audo montor as
far away from these electronc devces as possble: wreless routers,
rados, cellular telephones, ntercoms, room montors, televsons,
personal computers, ktchen applances and cordless telephones.
The light flashes on the parent unit.
Charge the battery n the parent unt for up to 3 hours.
Completely remove and nstall the battery agan and use t untl fully
depleted, then recharge the battery n the parent unt for up to 3
hours.
If the above measures do not correct the problem, replace the
battery.
