AccordingtoaGermantechnicalinspectionreport(TÜV)onTailGUARD™,duringanautonomousbrakingactionthe
ECUsuppliespowertotheback-uplight.Forthispurpose,thepowersupplytothereversinglampmustbeadequately
dimensioned and fused.
Ifitisnotpossibletosupplythestoplightsviathereversinglamp,theycanalsobesuppliedviaterminal15,for
example.Todothis,intheTEBSEDiagnosticSoftwareitisnecessarytoenabletheoption"Nostoplightsupplyvia
reversinglamp"(uptoDiagnosisV5.00)or"ReversingsignalinputtoreversinglampatGIO14-3"(fromDiagnosis
V5.10),andthereversingsignalhastobeconnectedviaterminalGIO14,pin3.

Thesuitableandpermittedconnectionpointsonthevehiclehavetobedetermined,dependingonthemodelseries,
fromtherespectivedocumentationprovidedbythevehiclemanufacturer.
