The specified measures refer to putting the vehicle out of operation and
back into operation after more than 30 days.
Putting out of operation temporarily
Store the vehicle indoors if possible.
If the machine has to be stored outdoors, place it on firm ground if
possible (for example on concrete), and cover it with a watertight tarp to
protect it against humidity.
1. Park the machine see "Parking the machine" on page 5-11.
2. Clean the engine with a high-pressure cleaner in a suitable place
see chapter “7.5 Cleaning and maintenance” on page 7-22.
3. Check the vehicle for leaks and loose nuts, screws and connections.
4. Carefully clean and dry the entire vehicle.
5. Spray an anticorrosion agent onto bare metal parts of the machine
(piston rods of hydraulic cylinders, for example).
6. Apply grease to all lubrication points.
7. Fill the fuel tank completely.
8. Check the hydraulic oil and coolant levels, and add hydraulic oil and
coolant if necessary.
9. Remove the battery and store it in a safe place. Charge the battery and
perform battery maintenance at regular intervals.
10.Close the air-intake openings of the air filter system and exhaust pipe.
