4.22 Before Starting
Requirements
Machine properly positioned
Power connected to the machine
Checks
Before starting the machine, check the following items:
Result
The machine is ready to turn on.
Item Task
Fuel sight gauge (if equipped) Check that the fuel tank is full (if applicable).
Fuel tank cap Check that the fuel tank cap (if applicable) is
secure.
Gas supply (if equipped) Check that the gas supply lines (if applicable)
have been properly installed.
Check that all valves are in the proper operating
position.
Operation mode switch Check that the operation mode switch is in the
OFF position.
Main control panel Check that proper power supplies have been
connected at the main control panel. See topic
Connecting Power to the Machine.
Remote thermostat (if installed) Check that the remote thermostat has been
correctly installed. See topic Installing the Remote
Thermostat or Thermostat Receptacle Plug.
Ducts and duct adapters Check that all ducts and duct adapters have been
properly installed. See topic Installing the Heater
Duct.
