LTS Operation
4.8 Engine Start and Stop
Start After checking and restoring the engine oil level if necessary, and fueling the unit,
proceed as follows:
Note: If this is the first starting, it is necessary to fuel the unit until the fuel
gauge (a) is above the 50% of fuel capacity.
1. Ensure that all the lamp switches (b) are in the OFF position.
2. Turn the key switch (c) to the GL position; (the lamp (d) will be lighted).
3. When the lamp (d) turns off, turn the key switch to the ST position.
Note: If the engine does not start, turn the key switch to the OFF position.
(Otherwise, the automatic engine shut off - DAS, will prevent starting the engine.)
Wait about 10 seconds and repeat the starting procedure.
4. Let the unit run for about 10 minutes to allow the regular warm-up.
5. Switch on the floodlights.
Stop 1. Switch off the floodlights.
2. Let the engine run in this condition for about one minute, then turn the key
switch (c) to the OFF position.
