Why my WAGNER GM5000 Paint Sprayer does not start?

  Your WAGNER Paint Sprayer might not be starting due to several reasons: it's not plugged in (plug it in); the ON/OFF switch is OFF (turn it ON); there's low or no voltage from the wall plug (test the power supply); it was turned off under pressure (turn the PRIME/SPRAY valve to PRIME); the extension cord is damaged (replace it); or the thermal overload tripped (let the motor cool in a cooler spot). If none of these work, the motor may have a problem.

Alternatively, the spray gun itself might be faulty. Ensure the spray gun cable is correctly connected. If the problem persists, contact WAGNER Service.

Other causes include: an extension cord that's too long or too small (replace it with a shorter, thicker cord); paint buildup on the motor (clean it); starting the sprayer under pressure (restart in PRIME mode); or the sprayer sitting in the sun (move it out of the sun).
