8.3.8 Ice
The ice monitoring safety function can be used to protect the external sun
shading systems from damage due to ice formation, e.g. on the guide rails.
If precipitation is detected when outside temperatures are cold, the unit is
moved to the safety position and locked there. Once the user has checked
that the units are free from ice, the ice alarm can be ended manually.
A WMS Weather station plus is required for this function.
When the ice alarm is active, manual operation is disabled.
8.3.9 Dawn/dusk
The dawn/dusk control function can be used to automate the sun shading or
visual privacy system depending on the measured brightness value (dawn/
dusk value).
This function requires a WMS Weather station or a WMS Photo sensor.
