9 Troubleshooting
9.1 LED display on the WMS WebControl pro
LED status
lights up green
The WMS WebControl pro has received an IP address
and is ready for use.
flashes green
The WMS WebControl pro has a network connection to
the router but still no programming and waits for max.
1min. for the IP address (e.g. after restart).
lights up red
The WMS WebControl pro has received a static default
IP address.
flashes red
The WMS WebControl pro must be updated with the
WMS studio pro via USB.
lights up orange
.. (3s) The WMS WebControl pro has been identified.
flashes orange
..3 times: the WMS WebControl pro will be returned to
the factory setting.
flashes
red / green
..alternately: the WMS WebControl pro is running a
software update.
9.2 Restarting WMS WebControl pro
 Briefly press the reset button on the underside of the WMS WebControl pro
with a pointed object (e.g. ballpoint pen).
 LED flashes green. The WMS WebControl pro restarts. All settings are re-
tained.
 When the LED once more lights up permanently, the WMS WebControl pro is
ready for operation.
9.3 Resetting WMS WebControl pro to factory settings
 Press the reset button on the underside of the WMS WebControl pro with a
pointed object (e.g. ballpoint pen) for longer than 10s.
 LED flashes orange three times. The WMS WebControl pro is returned to the
factory setting. All settings are deleted.
