What to do if burner does not light on Weber E-670 Grill?
    • N
      nsingletonJul 30, 2025
If a burner on your Weber Grill doesn't light, or the flame is low in the HI position, first check if the LP fuel is low or empty and refill the LP cylinder if needed. Also, check if the fuel hose is bent or kinked and straighten it. If it still doesn't light, see if the burner lights with a match, and if so, clean the burners. If you're using the snap igniter, make sure to hold the control knob in for two seconds after snapping the igniter and seeing the orange flame from the burner lighting tube. If the igniter doesn't work, try manually lighting the burner.

The inside of your Weber Grill lid may appear to be peeling, but it is not paint. What you are seeing is baked-on grease that has turned to carbon and is flaking off. This is not a defect. Clean it thoroughly.

If you're experiencing flare-ups with your Weber Grill, ensure you're preheating it correctly by setting all burners to HI for 10 to 15 minutes. Also, thoroughly clean the cooking grates and Flavorizer® bars if they are heavily coated with burned-on grease. Additionally, make sure the bottom tray is clean to allow grease to flow into the catch pan.
