What to do if Weber Grill burners do not light?
    • B
      brandymunozJul 26, 2025
If the burners on your Weber Grill do not light, or have a small flickering flame in the HI position, or the grill temperature only reaches 250° to 300° in the HI position, the excess gas flow safety device may have been activated. To reset it, turn all burner control knobs and the cylinder valve off. Disconnect the regulator from the cylinder. Turn burner control knobs to HI and wait at least one minute. Then, turn the burner control knobs to OFF. Reconnect the regulator to the cylinder. Turn the cylinder valve on slowly.

Why does my Weber Grill lose heat in cold weather?
    • R
      Richard RamosJul 30, 2025
If your Weber Grill seems to lose heat when cooking in temperatures of 10°C (50°F) or colder, and there's frost or ice on the outside of the LP cylinder, it means the liquid propane is not vaporizing quickly enough to supply the burners. This happens because the air temperature cools the LP cylinder, slowing down the vaporization process. To solve this, turn off the burner control knobs and the LP cylinder. Replace it with a spare LP cylinder, and then resume cooking.

What to do if my Weber Grill has flare-ups?
    • J
      John JohnsonAug 3, 2025
To prevent flare-ups on your Weber Grill: * Ensure all burners are on HI for 10 to 15 minutes for preheating. * Clean the cooking grates and FLAVORIZER bars thoroughly if they are heavily coated with burned-on grease. * Clean the slide-out grease tray regularly. Also, do not line the slide-out grease tray with aluminum foil.

How to fix low flame on Weber Grill?
    • A
      Andrew HardyAug 8, 2025
If the burner does not light, or the flame is low in the HI position on your Weber Grill, try the following: 1. Refill the LP cylinder if the fuel is low or empty. 2. Straighten the fuel hose if it is bent or kinked. 3. If you can light the burner with a match, check the ignition system. 4. Make sure you hold the control knob in for two seconds after snapping the igniter and seeing the orange flame from the burner lighting tube.

Why is the inside of my Weber Summit E-670 Grill lid peeling?
    • S
      Steven ChavezAug 12, 2025
If the inside of your Weber Grill lid appears to be “peeling,” it is not a defect. The lid is made of porcelain enamel or stainless steel, not paint, so it cannot peel. The residue you see is baked-on grease that has turned to carbon and is flaking off. Clean the lid thoroughly.

What to do if Weber Summit E-670 Grill burner flame pattern is erratic?
    • K
      Kevin BridgesAug 16, 2025
If the burner flame pattern on your Weber Grill is erratic, the flame is low when the burner is on HI, or the flames do not run the whole length of the burner tube, clean the burners.
