If the side burner on your Weber Grill doesn't light, it's possible the excess flow safety device has been activated. To reset it, turn all burner control knobs and the cylinder valve off. Disconnect the regulator from the cylinder. Turn burner control knobs to the START/HI position and wait at least one minute. Then, turn the burner control knobs to the OFF position. Why is the inside of my Weber Summit lid peeling?
The lid of your Weber Grill is stainless steel, not paint, so it cannot “peel”. What you are seeing is baked on grease that has turned to carbon and is flaking off. This is not a defect, clean thoroughly. See Section “Cleaning”.
