2 Getting Started
Chapter Purpose
This chapter is intended to provide the user with:
• Equipment set-up procedures:
• Install battery fuse
• Load paper
• Apply power
• Set date and time
• Patient preparation and hook-up
• Real-Time ECG View
Equipment Set-Up
Two AC line fuses and one battery fuse are installed on your CP 20. Should you ever need to replace the battery
fuse, follow these instructions. Note Section 1, Figure 1-4 for battery fuse location.
Replacement of battery fuse:
• Turn carrier counterclockwise approximately ¼ turn until it pops up
• Replace fuse into fuse carrier provided.
• Insert carrier (with fuse) into fuse holder.
• Turn carrier clockwise approximately ¼ turn until it is securely seated in the fuse holder.
