and
indicative
only.
Specific
instructions
where

be
packaged

your
replacement
impeller.
1.
Remove
the
front
cover
gasket.
2.
Remove
the
impeller
by
pulling
straight
outwards,
parallel
to
the
pump
shaft.
This
is
best
done
with
a
pair
of
pliers
applied
to
the
impeller
hub.
3.

the

into
which
it
mounts
with

Carefully
align

impeller

wi
th
the

Take
care
that
all
the
impeller

bend
in
the
same
direction
and
trailing.
5.
Inspect
the
front

wear.
A
worn
front
cover
should
ulti-
mately
be
replaced.
Sometimes
it
can
be
reversed
as
an
emergency

not

seal

doubly
sure

check

for
sea
water
flow
when

engine.
The
absence
of
flow
indicates
that
the
pump may
not
by
priming
itself
properly.
This
situation
must
be
investigated
immediately
or
damage
to
the
new
impeller
will
result
from
over-
heating.
