Your portable air conditioner is supplied with a Leakage-Current Detection and Interruption (LCDI)
plug. This plug reduces the risk of fire due to arcing faults in the power supply cord. Please follow
the instructions below to ensure that LCDI plug works properly.
1. Plug the power cord to a grounded wall outlet. Do not plug to a power strip or extension cord.
2. Press the TEST button on the plug. This should trip the plug and cut the power to the air condi-
tioner. If the plug does not trip and the unit comes on, please contact technical support.
3. Press the RESET button to start the air conditioner.
4. Do NOT use the TEST and RESET buttons to turn the air conditioner on and off.
