Charging the Battery
- When charging is in progress the LED on the charger will ash red.
When charging is complete, the LED on the charger will change from
ashing red to a green light. After the charge is complete remove the
charging plug from the charging socket and unplug from the mains
outlet.
- Make sure to close the eBike charge port cover after charging. If
foreign matter such as dirt or dust adheres to the charging socket, there
is a risk that the charging plug will not t into the charging port.

cause the battery to deteriorate

an area with a smoke detector or make sure someone is taking
care of the battery during the charging process.
WARNING - Do not place the battery and charger at locations
that are easily accessible to children.

ash red.
When the battery is fully charged, the indicator on the charger will
turn green.
Charge the Battery Before and After Storage
It is always best practice to charge your bike after each ride. Charging
before storing your bike will help improve the life span of the battery.
If your Whyte eBike is going to be stored for an extended period it is
recommended that the battery is charged to 30-60% battery capacity.
This will need to be repeated every six months for optimum storage.
INFO - On the product warning label of the battery
and charger, you can nd simple descriptions of safety
warnings (Please illustration above for reference).
