3.1 Explanation of symbols

3.2 Intended use
The pressure transmitter with ameproof enclosure is used for the continuous monitoring of gaseous media or
liquids in hazardous areas that require equipment with equipment protection level Gb.
For Ex marking, see chapter 3.7 “Ex marking”.
The instrument has been designed and built solely for the intended use described here, and may only be used
accordingly.
The manufacturer shall not be liable for claims of any type based on operation contrary to the intended use.
