10.0 Power Sources :
When changing the power source from battery to mains power or the reverse, the
instrument zero should always be redetermined.
11.0 Quick Start Instructions :
1. Turn on power (allow 30 minute warm up)
2. Select Control - Select (Battery) Check Battery Status
3. Select Analyze - Select (Rezero) Prompt to Install Zero Filter
Hit (Zero) Count Down 30 seconds
4. Select Run - Prompt to Install Particulate Filter
Hit (Run) Count Down 30 seconds
YOU ARE READY TO SAMPLE!
12.0 USB Driver Installation :
1. Plug in the USB cable from the host computer to the InfraRan USB mini B port.
2. The host computer will come up with a dialog box, noting that it has found new
hardware and asking where to find the driver.
Place the driver/utilities CD into the host computer CDROM drive and continue
with the driver installation by directing the Windows driver dialog box to the driver
directory on the CDROM ( Please note : Windows XP has the proper driver included
in the operating system, so the driver CD should not be needed for the USB
installation ).
3. After the installation of the driver, confirm that a new COM port has been added to
the host computer.
