13.0 USB Port Operation Test
To confirm the proper operation of the USB COM port, start the Windows Hyperterminal
program in the Start - Programs - Accessories - Communications menu.
Configure Hyperterminal to communicate with the COM port allocated to the USB serial
port.
The port configuration is as follows:
9600 Baud
1 Stop bit
No Parity
No Flow Control
With the InfraRan USB cable plugged in and the analyzer on, press ANALYZE then
RUN.
After the analyzer has started the RUN cycle, a continuous stream of data should be
now displayed on hyperterminal.
This will confirm the proper operation of the USB port.
14.0 Downloading Data with Rs-232/USB
Download Data Report After recording data using the SETUP - ANALYSIS - LOG -
STATUS selection you can download the data file to a host computer in one of two
ways.
14.1 Using Windows Hyperterminal Program :
Start the Hyperterminal program, by clicking on Start – Programs – Accessories and
Communications.
