Why is my Windsor Saber Glide SG28 not picking up water properly?
- TTracy TorresSep 7, 2025
If your Windsor Scrubber isn't picking up water effectively, several factors could be responsible. Start by adjusting the squeegee to ensure it makes proper contact with the floor. Check for and remove any debris caught on the squeegee. If the squeegee blades are worn, rotate or replace them. Inspect the vacuum hose for clogs and clear any obstructions. Ensure the vacuum hose is securely connected to both the squeegee and the recovery tank. If the hose is damaged, replace it. Also, check the vacuum motor inlet filter; if it's dirty, clean or replace it. Make sure the recovery tank is sealed correctly, replacing any damaged seals if necessary. Finally, if foam is filling the recovery tank, empty it and consider using less detergent, a different detergent, or a defoamer.
