For example: At the picture below you can see RS-232, RS-422, RS-485 (J8/J9) jumper
setting. To select RS-232 set Jumper 8 Pin 1-2 to the SHORT position, and Jumper 9
Pin1-2, 4-5, 7-8, 10-11 to the SHORT position.
