7.6.2 Clean the bean hopper
Risk of injury
• Long hair could become caught in the
grinder head and drawn into the coffee
machine.
> Always protect hair with ahairnet before
removing the bean hopper.
Bruising or crushing hazard/
risk of injury
• The coffee machine contains moving parts
that can cause finger or hand injury.
> Always switch off the coffee machine and
unplug the mains plug before reaching into
the coffee grinder or the opening of the
brewing unit.
> Never clean the bean hoppers in
adishwasher.
The bean hoppers should be cleaned as required and at
regular intervals.
Recommendation:monthly.
 Press the ON/OFF switch for more than 2seconds
until coffee machine switches off
 Disconnect mains plug
 Release bean hoppers lock using multitool by
turning in aclockwise direction
 Lift bean hoppers out
