Safety | Hazards to the coffee machine
Please observe the following instructions so as to prevent
problems with and damage to the coffee machine:
• For drinking water with carbonate hardness in excess
of 5°dKH, aWMFwater filter must be fitted; otherwise,
the coffee machine can be damaged due to build-up of
scale.
• For insurance reasons always ensure that, at the end of
operation, the mains tap for the water supply is turned
off and the mains switch is switched off or the mains
plug is unplugged.
• We recommend damage prevention measures such as:
- installation of asuitable water monitor in the mains
water supply
- installation of smoke alarms
• After shut off for several days we recommend running
the cleaning program at least twice before reusing the
machine.
