2.1| PROPER USE

This appliance must not be used
by persons with reduced phys

ical, sensory or mental abilities
or lack of experience and knowl

edge (or by children), unless they
have been instructed by a person
responsible for their safety.

Children must be supervised in
order to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
•
Keep the appliance and power
cord out of reach of children.
•
Always disconnect the appli-
ance from the power supply
when it is left unattended, or is
being assembled, disassembled or
cleaned.
•
When you use your appliance,
some parts will get very hot (the
pot, the lid, the removable drive
shaft, the accessories, the trans
-
parent parts of the lid, the metal
parts under the pot and the
steamer insert). This can result
in burns. Hold the appliance by
the non-conductive plastic parts
(handles and motor unit).
•
Accessible surfaces may be hot
when the appliance is in use.
Place the appliance on a flat, sta
-
ble, heat resistant, clean and dry
surface.
•
This appliance is not intended
for use with an external timer or
separate remote control system.
•
Do not use the appliance if it is
not working properly, is dam
-
aged, or the power cord or plug is
damaged. To prevent hazards, the
power cord must be replaced at
an authorized service center (see
contact details in the warranty
statement).
•
The appliance must not be
immersed in water. Do not place
the motor unit

under running
water.
•
This product is solely intended for
indoor use in a household envi

ronment at an altitude of less
than 2000 m. The manufacturer
assumes no liability and reserves
the right to void the warranty
in the event of commercial or
improper use, or failure to follow
the instructions.

This appliance is not intended for
use in the following cases, which
are not covered by the warranty:
Staff kitchens in stores, offices
and other places of work
Use by employees in stores,
offices and other work
environments
Farms
Use by guests staying in hotels,
motels, B&Bs and similar
accommodation.
