with care (use gloves or a pan
holder if necessary). Take hold of
the locking cap using the holder
provided.

Do not operate the appliance if
the seal is not seated correctly in

on the lid. The cap must be in
place in the lid opening while
the appliance is in use (unless
the instructions for a recipe state

Some foods with skin (sau-
sages, poultry, etc.) or large
cuts of meat may splatter if boiling
liquids are enclosed. We therefore
recommend that you pierce them
with a knife or fork before
cooking.

The surface of the heating
element remains warm for a
time after use.
