PROBLEMS CAUSES SOLUTIONS
Low noise during
operation
The spindle of your appliance may make
a noise at reduced speed or with certain
ingredients (rice, etc.).
This is only temporary and will not
affect the lifespan of your appliance.
The noise decreases or stops with
use of the appliance and after the
detachable spindle has been cleaned
a few times (see Section Cleaning the
appliance).
Loud noises
during operation
You are using the wrong accessories. Make sure you use the right
accessories (e.g., do not use the whisk

to knead or mix dough, use the
kneading/grinding knife

Ingredients spill
out through
the lid
The amount of ingredients is too large. Reduce the amount of ingredients.
The lid has not been correctly
positioned or locked.
Lock the lid securely on the pot.
The sealing ring
is not positioned correctly.
Position the sealing ring on the seal
holder and attach the assembled parts
to the lid.
The sealing ring is defective or
damaged.
The seal needs to be replaced. Contact
an authorized customer service center.
Incorrect accessories are being used. Check that you are using the
recommended accessories.
Ingredients leak
out of the pot
The seal is not in the correct position. Position the seal correctly.
The seal is damaged. Contact an authorized customer
service center.
The sealing ring (Fig. C5) is not correctly
locked.
Fix the sealing ring (Fig. C5) correctly.
The knives have
difficulty in
turning
The pieces of the ingredients are too large
or too hard.
Reduce the size or amount of
ingredients.
Add liquid.
Smell from the
motor
This can occur when using the appliance for
the first time or when it is overloaded due
to large
amounts of ingredients, or pieces of food
that are too hard or too large.
Allow the motor to cool (approx. 30
minutes) and reduce the amount of
ingredients in the pot.
