7.1 Troubleshooting, fault remedy

Check the electrical connections.
Check the control equipment for the
power supply.
Reservoir is empty
Exchange the barrel. Remove air
from pump unit and lubricant lines.
Air included in lubricant
lines
Fill the lines with lubricant.
Lubricant not suited for
the application
Exchange the lubricant of the whole
system.
Leaking line system
Seal the leaking spot.
Pump unit blockade
Have the pump unit repaired.
Pump element failed
Exchange the pump element.

Lubricant
pressure too
high
Obstruction in pipeline
system
Check the line system for free
throughput.
Remove obstructed components and
clean or replace them.
Lubricant not suited for
the application
Exchange the lubricant of the whole
system.
Pipeline cross-section
too small
Replace the pipelines by lines having
a bigger cross-section.
