8.4 Repair
8.4.1 Changing the pump element
Note! When removing the pump element, be careful to remove the
delivery piston from the reservoir as well. If this part is left in the
reservoir, the pump unit may be damaged and, thus, fail.
Unscrew the pump element cautiously. Replace the old pump element by an exchange part.
When installing the pump element, proceed as follows:
Insert the new pump element diagonally
upwards into the location hole in the casing with
the delivery piston being pulled out up to its half
approximately.
Tilt the pump element down as soon as the
delivery piston’s head is resting at the pressure
ring such that it is engaging the groove of the
pressure ring.
Screw the pump element down.
Installation and commissioning will be facilitated if the hole of the pump element that serves to
accommodate the delivery piston is filled with grease.
For other repairs, turn to WOERNER, please.
8.4.2 Gear motor replacement:
When replacing the gear motor, install the coupling hub such that it protracts the shaft end by
1.5 to 2.0 mm.
Similarly, the hub of the pump shaft should also protract by 1.5 to 2.00 mm.
