These pins select which internal module receives the RS232 data being transferred on pins 1 and 2
of J102. The choices for these pins are listed in the table below:
Pin 3 Pin 4 Selection
N/C N/C CPU Board Processor Test Port
Ground N/C Display Board Processor Test Port
N/C Ground CPU Board Processor ISP Port
Ground Ground CPU Board RS232 Bus
5 - ISP Start Discrete
This pin is used only during ISP software loading during maintenance.
6 - Normalized Audio 1 Out H
This audio pin outputs audio from FM -1 at a constant level - i.e. it is not controlled by the volume
control. This output will produce 2.0Vrms into a 10K load.
7 – Reserved Spare #1
This pin reserved for future use.
8 – Normalized Audio 2 Out H
This audio pin outputs audio from FM -2 at a constant level - i.e. it is not controlled by the volume
control. This output will produce 2.0Vrms into a 10K load.
9 – Reserved Spare #2
This pin reserved for future use.
10 - Ground
Ground.
11 – General Input #1
Multi-purpose discreet input that can be configured based upon system operation
12 – General Input #2
Multi-purpose discreet input that can be configured based upon system operation
13 – General Output #1
Multi-purpose discreet output that can be configured based upon system operation.
