Expansion Module
2 CO Line Expansion Module
The X16 system comes with four CO Lines, and can be expanded to six CO
Lines, when the 2 CO Line expansion module is installed.
The expansion module is located inside the communication server and connects
to the main board, via ribbon cable. After it is installed, and the system is
powered on, the expansion module will be recognized in software and become
fully operational. Use the following steps to install the expansion module.
Step 1 – Installing the Expansion Module
Place the voice server face down on a stable surface such as a table, showing
the four rubber feet.
Remove the four rubber feet, placing them in a safe place, such as the back of
the voice server, exposing 4 screws. Unscrew the four screws and remove the
cover.
