After Heater menu
The 8254E calls this the "Drier menu" but the items and steps are identical.
Allows you to set up the After Heater temperature to dry the printed media. This control is active
during printing operation.
Note:
• The preset temperature of the After Heater varies, depending on the media.
For the preset temperature of the After Heater, contact your local Xerox Sales
Representative for a recommended media list.
Setup item Setting Description
PlatenHeater Off / <30° C> to 50° C Sets up the Platen Heater temperature.

•Pressing the [Enter] key saves the setting and shifts to the
previous menu.
•Pressing the [Cancel] key cancels the setting and shifts to
the previous menu.
