PROCEDURE
9.9D, 15D
1) Place the gear shift lever in the neutral
position.
2) Push the tilt-lock lever down to the
release position.
3) Slightly tilt up the engine and pull the
shallow water lever toward the transom.
4) To return the engine to the normal posi-
tion, put the engine in Neutral, then
slightly tilt up the engine. Push the shal-
low water lever down. Set the tilt-lock
lever to the lock position and slowly tilt
the engine down.
