1. Preparation
1) Use an AC adaptor PA-150, PA-150A or PA-5D.
2) Following items are required for testing. (Input impedance of measuring instrument must be more than 1 MΩ)
• Personal Computer, which must be installed the USB-MIDI driver and nished through-setting.
• Frequency counter, which can detect thousandth value or more.
• Level meter (with JIS-C Filter)
• Foot pedal (FC3), Foot switch (FC4 or FC5)
• Headphones
• USB cable
• OPTION PEDAL LP-5A
3) Connection
Connect a measuring plug (stereo plug) to the [PHONES] jack (to either one for P-105B/P-105WH). (33 Ω load)
Connect a measuring plug (stereo plug) to all the [AUX OUT] jacks. (10 kΩ load)
Connect a sustain pedal to the [SUSTAIN] jack.
4) Control settings
Set the [MASTER VOLUME] slider to the maximum position and leave the pedals turned off.
2. Starting Up the Test Program
While holding down the [C#2], [F2] and [G#2] keys simultaneously, press the [ ] (Standby / On) switch. (Fig. 1)
The test program is started and the A3 sine wave sounds. To stop the sound, press any key.
3. Test Procedure
Test items are listed in Table 1.
Press the corresponding key to select and execute each test. (See Fig. 2)
To enter the test item select mode after completing each test item, press the lowest key or the [DEMO/SONG] button (P-105B/WH only).

4. Test result
Each test result is indicated by the sound.
When the test result is OK, the C4 sine wave sounds.
When the test result is NG, the C2 sine wave sounds.
