  If the network feature isn't functioning on your Yamaha Receiver, the network parameters (IP address) may not have been obtained properly. Enable the DHCP server function on your router and set “DHCP” in the “Setup” menu to “On” on the unit. If you want to configure the network parameters manually, check that you are using an IP address which is not used by other network devices in your network.

  If the sound on your Yamaha Receiver suddenly cuts out, it could be due to a few reasons. The protection circuitry may have been activated because of a short circuit. In this case, set the speaker impedance to match your speakers. Alternatively, the unit may have become too hot, so ensure the openings on the top panel are not blocked. Also, check if the auto power standby function has turned the unit off; you can change the auto power standby setting in the Setup menu to turn it off.

In this case, the standby indicator will blink, and you should contact a Yamaha dealer for repair. Alternatively, the power cable might not be fully connected, so ensure it is firmly plugged in. A short circuit could also activate the protection circuitry; check that the speaker wires aren't touching. Finally, the internal microcomputer might have frozen due to an electrical shock or voltage drop. Try turning the power off and on again after 15 seconds, or disconnecting and reconnecting the power cable.

The unit and the wireless router may be too far apart, so place them closer to each other. There may also be an obstacle between the unit and the wireless router, so move them to a location where there are no obstacles between them.

  If you're having trouble establishing a Bluetooth connection with your Yamaha Receiver, try the following: First, make sure the Bluetooth function is enabled in the “Setup” menu. If another device is already connected, terminate that connection before attempting a new one. Ensure the Bluetooth device is close to the receiver. Move the receiver away from devices that output signals in the 2.4 GHz frequency band, such as microwave ovens and wireless LAN devices. Verify that your Bluetooth device supports A2DP. If you've paired more than 20 devices, try pairing again, as the least frequently used pairing information may have been deleted.
